Wild life is all around the pond. Buddy and I enjoy watching everything sprout. We took a blade of grass to create a whistle but we didn't get a sound. The right type of blade is important. Next time. This is my first attempt at posting a close-up Kleinste Motte.
Hello, It sounds as though you're enjoying your spring - glad that you and Buddy can walk and see the new blooms. I am watching for wildflowers in my forest, too. I've been busy preparing the gardens. It's a joy to see the snow melted and the forest floor turn green. I wish you Good Health.
ReplyDeleteHI There, Great picture... If that is your first attempt at posting a close-up, I"ll give you an "A"... You did GREAT.
ReplyDeleteYes, Spring is a wonderful time of year --when we see so many things in bloom. It's just a wonderful time of year!
Hugs,
Betsy
Lovely picture! Glad you and Buddy had a good time!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on your first close-up! Very pretty. Oh I will have to find a blade of grass soon and whistle..this post brought back memories of doing so many, many years ago, trying to outdo the cousins!
ReplyDeleteI am quite impressed. I think the photos enhance the blog. It has come a long way in a short time. Kudos!
ReplyDeleteI did go back to my blog where you left a comment and made the text black instead of a close to black color. I don't know what else to tell you if you have macular degeneration.
ReplyDeleteThere used to be a Doctor Wilson who lived up the street who put tons of vitamins into 5 gallon drums and sold it to people with Macular Degeneration. Some people said it helped but my feeling was that it didn't work very well.
Hello..and thanks for coming to visit my blog. It is most appreciated. I love your picture. I have no abilities at taking photos or posting them...so I am impressed. I look forward to reading a learning more about you.
ReplyDeleteMaking a whistle with a blade of grass. No that brings back some really old, old memories. I wonder if I could do it now? I gotta' try.
ReplyDeleteNice photo. I can just imagine walking around the pond and picking a blade of grass.
